Our trip to Sabah

This picture is from the hotel we stayed at in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, on Malaysian Borneo. KK, as it is commonly called, is well-known for the islands that you can visit from the Sutera Harbor, which was right next to our hotel. These islands are beautiful and have excellent beaches and great areas for diving and snorkeling.

The city of KK itself, however, is small, and doesn't have much to do. But it has several nice restaurants and good food. The state of Sabah has a lot of things to do, such as river rafting, hiking up Mount Kinabalu, seeing the orangutan reserve, and other nature trekking. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the orangutans nor hike, but I almost got attacked by a monkey which was an interesting thrill !!
